National Conference on the Review and Functioning of Community Colleges and Skill Development Centres in India and Commemoration of 30 Years of Community College Movement in India (1995-2025), Chennai, Tamilnadu.

Indian Centre for Research and Development of Community Education (ICRDCE), Chennai is at the threshold of completing thirty years of existence in taking the Community College movement in India forward and other parts of the world. This historical event was celebrated on the 26th & 27th September, 2025 with the National Conference in which 142 participants from 75 Community Colleges participated. They shared their experiences and the way forward.
The commemoration was celebrated with a formal function on 27th at Dhyana Ashram. Rev. Dr. Britto Vincent, S.J., Chairman, ICRDCE, Chennai Tmt. Innocent Divya, IAS., Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Tamilnadu as the Guest of Honour, Fr. Berkmans, S.J., felicitated the gathering. Dr. Wilson, Principal, Madras Christian College and Dr. Vasanthi Vijayakumar, Vice Chancellor, Captain Williamson Sangma State University, Meghalaya inaugurated the Conference. On the occasion, the book "Committed to Care" was released, tracing the Community College movement in the last thirty years.
